    In a nutshell from wikipedia:

I do, the NH90 is a fine 11 troop utility carrier ..I love the swing out off drivers window and the low entry jump in level. Mighty fine piece of equipment. I still love our UH 60 Blackhawks. The US Army UH-60 Blackhawks that normally carries 11 equipped troops, with a normal maximum range of around 550km. Like the NH90, the UH-60 Blackhawks carries cargo using a hook and sling system underneath with guns..,The agility and Air speed to get to the fight faster and a step ahead of battle. With an entire 11- troop, fully-equipped infantry squad that can be lifted and gone faster with longer range than most and in most weather conditions. The Black Hawk can reposition it's 105 mm Howitzer cannons along with two door guns that gets the job done. It's proven. lol.,anyways, the NH90 is pretty cool. I still love our UH-60 Black hawks more..Shoot, we haven't even talked about the CH-47 Chinook or the UH-72A Lakota yet. We're starting to rotate our equipment out slowly for new equipment. We had UH-60 black hawks back in 2006 that we're still in service from the late 1970's from the VN era.lol. Yep, good stuff. Thanxs, Torpo for posting.

then again the Blackhawks are a bit of a hollywood boosted legends aren't they?

    [, let the nonsense start]

there are about same amount of people within the state of Minnesota than we have here.
the city of Newyork has probably fivetimes as much..
so you would not expect us to fly your gear in the first place..
    but we do.
    Amazing.
We also educate USMC!... where does it enD?
well its the same old same old.

    ['stop the nonsense]

anyhows.. the system was worth mentioning.

also.. the fact that our guys get to share the knowlage with you CIMIC officers is an honour.

Chinooks and UH-72A Lakotas.. we have none.
then again.. we could use the lifting power.

The NH90 packs some punch no doubt..It is a sweet looking piece of equipment..just curious. What size fuel tanks does the NH90 have? what's her range in miles?

Good stuff guys... those choppers are great vehicles.. even the Irish Aer Corps upgraded.. they got Augusta choppers, Italian Air Vehicles which is the upgrade from the Dophin Chopper.. Never rode in it, but it looks capable, can lift a howizer cannon... looks like penty of room inside too..

Well.. when it come's to our variant of the NH90 I cant discuss because I don't know.. (as it should be)

The "normal" variant of NH90 its about 800 km + -
max take off with 23,370 lb.

I know that our stuff is modified to certain extent to fit our needs.
but as i said: the specifics I don't know and probably wouldn't talk about here or anywhere on the nets..

No worries Torpso. This Soldier already know's what his UH-60 Black Hawks can do..I have a pretty good idea that the NH-90 can do about the same..
