15 papa here. Aviation Ops. You guys will love the shop. We have everything. The bays are set up for parts and such and each mechanic has their own bays to work out of. My unit is jacked. Pilots and crew chiefs teams. Good luck dudes.
You guys going to FT Jackson and Mother Rucker will love it.

The base is so large it has its own 'neighborhoods'. These include: 'KBR-land' (a Halliburton subsidiary company); 'CJSOTF' which is home to ' the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force' and is surrounded by especially high walls that is, according to The Washington Post, so secretive that even the base Army public affairs chief has never been inside.
I dunno what I'm classified as any longer, the only dangerous duty I see now is walking around the dog turds in my yard. Oh but there was a time, yes sir I were a true bonafide door gunner on a UH1 gunship, no radar, no wheels and best of all damned small. Like Jimmi Hendrix said I kissed the sky!
Yeah, man. "Sky pilot" & Gun Grease. Nothing better then flying UH-60 with doors open and the crew chief singing for a living. The crew in my guard unit has primary and secondary duties. You can be a 15T UH-60A Black hawk repairer and gunner. The Winning Team..
Welcome Back..
