What's not spectacular about F-16 Eagles in a tight formation? Outstanding! And thanks for posting 'em!

Even though these photos are amazing we must be careful of what we expose to on the Internet. THINK OPSEC.:)

OPSEC/PERSEC versus Public Relations - the eternal balance. Remember the rules:

NEVER post your full name or personally identifiable information
NEVER post information about upcoming unit movements or deployments
NEVER post information about developing technologies, unless that information has already been released publicly

I'm sorry, but that's too much. I can understand not posting pictures of the INSIDE of vehicles, or exterior pictures of a vehicle in development..but to not take pictures of me chilling on my tank. Or a buddy smoking next his humvee. Or even a howitzer is just taking it too far.

//EDIT//
I guess my avatar really needs to come down.

This rule has never been part of any OPSEC brief I have attended - and in fact is counterproductive to our efforts to 'tell the Army story'. It is also an unnecessary precaution, when we regularly have family day and open house events, where we encourage people to climb onto and into our vehicles and equipment - and take pictures of same.

I had a Brigade "Fun Day" once. Same thing. Kids crawling all over the ASV and trucks. I don't think it's a good idea. The enemy is watching...
