    Question Reception hold over

My son arrived at reception 3 days ago. He has a pierced ear that had closed up, but not entirely, and is now on hold over for a week. Will he be discharged? Would he be allowed to correct it at his expense and proceed? Very bad choice on his part, I know, but he was relieved when MEPS passed him on it. Any info would be appreciated - even bad news is better than sleepless nights of not knowing what to expect.

If he's being held over there's a good chance he'll be allowed to continue once the problem is corrected. Keep us updated.
