Default Getting promoted to PFC after doing online Future Soldier Training

Did anyone do the Future Soldier Training online to get promoted before basic training?

I'm nearly done with it and iv been told a Commander will interview me and ask me to say the phonetic alphabet and such.

Does anyone have any more information on this?

Maybe local policy but interview is not mandatory anymore...only have to show all the certificates of completion and PASS the full PT test to earn 1 rank promotion.

I highly encourage everyone to take that simple promotion.

The recruiter just called a number, then gave me a piece of paper and said "Here read this to the Master Sergeant. But pretend like you're having trouble remembering". A few minutes later I was a PV2.

The criteria for PFC is a little harder - you're required to tie your boot laces without visual aids or a coach.
