Thread: Housing Experts Please Help!

They all have good military housing, the best will depend on who you are talking to. What job are you going to do? married, single?

I'm married and I'm going to OCS-and haven't received a branch assignment yet-still haven't gone in front of the review board yet-so I'm asking prematurely. I',m from Atlanta-and I have seen the housing on Fort Benning in Columbus-don't really like it. Thanks, for the response.

Thanks, for the response. I think Alaska will be too cold-hope I don't go there-I hate cold weather, thanks.

Mostly all the bases are getting privatized housing but to be honest the best place thus far is Alaska. Everybody that I know that was stationed there said the base housing is awesome. Go figure but enjoy.

I thought you were looking into joining, are you saying you are already trying dodge deployments?

No, I'm mainly concerned with my duty station, but if deployment happens, then I have no other recourse. I know that is a possibility, plus that's more money!
