    Talking Housing Experts Please Help!

    I am enlisting soon and would like to know which bases have good military housing or what are the best Army bases-thanks.

    They all have good military housing, the best will depend on who you are talking to. What job are you going to do? married, single?

    Mostly all the bases are getting privatized housing but to be honest the best place thus far is Alaska. Everybody that I know that was stationed there said the base housing is awesome. Go figure but enjoy.

    I'm married and I'm going to OCS-and haven't received a branch assignment yet-still haven't gone in front of the review board yet-so I'm asking prematurely. I',m from Atlanta-and I have seen the housing on Fort Benning in Columbus-don't really like it. Thanks, for the response.

    Thanks, for the response. I think Alaska will be too cold-hope I don't go there-I hate cold weather, thanks.

    so now you being picky and you havent even started serving yet? lol. I been in for almost 20 years and mostly every base I served; I didnt want lol. And the ones I do want; everyone else gets.

    Anyway, come here to Afghanistan. I been here for 3 months and it still sucks lol.

    No, I'm mainly concerned with my duty station, but if deployment happens, then I have no other recourse. I know that is a possibility, plus that's more money!
