    Default what are these vehicles?

    There has been a train passing though Kingman AZ with lots of military vehicles. Most of them I know what they are BUT I am now seeing more and more of what look to be some kind of tank. Can someone tell me what they are and also are the vehicles US Military or not. Thanks. I also have video of the train that passes thought here about every other week. But here is the one vehicle I am trying to find out what it is.

    Those are US Army armored bulldozers used by engineers to move earth, upgraded with additional armor bolted and welded onto the sides. Welcome to the forum, Christina - why don't you introduce yourself?

    I went and looked at your video - I found your caption interesting, to say the least;
    What kind of military is this? These trains loaded with military equipment moves through Kingman at least twice or three times a week here and they are all headed east from California..
    The equipment is not US army and they are all unmarked but they seem to be UN equipment and the tanks are really weird looking, I have never seen any like them.
    Is this a massive buildup of equipment to begin martial law in America.
    These vehicles and CONEXes are all coming back from Iraq. The equipment IS US Army - but standard OPSEC procedure is to obscure unit markings when transporting vehicles; the other possibility is that these trucks have been turned in and are enroute to Red River Army Depot or similar for depot level maintenance and overhaul. You can put your tinfoil hat back on.

    Thanks for all that information. I just have not seen these before.

    As for me. I love the military. I am in my mid 20s. I have always wanted to join the army however do to an unknown medical condition I am unable to join. So I just support the military in anyway I can. As for Captain Tripps. Hes Not in the military and not a real Caption. That is just his nickname.

    Took me some searching, as I've never worked with Engineers. The vehicle pictured is type classified as the M9 ACE Armored Combat Earthmover - and a page on it is at (link) Armored Combat Earthmover - (M9 ACE)
