Thread: Hi there from SA !

good day all,

i'm a 22 year old south african wanting to join the British Army...i want to ask a few questions regarding the process of joining so i hope you guys would be able to assist me...

i've been to the UK before, worked there for 2 years. my working visa was for 24 months and expired in April 2007, therefor i came back to South Africa...if i want to join the army asap, would it be possible for me to get a new visa or will the army sort that out for me? if so, how long does it normally take?
what are the medical requirements to join ? (eg. if i wear glasses, would i qualify)

everything they require from me i've got, eg. passport(still got 11 years on passport) , place to live in UK, sponsor, proof of secondary education etc..
will also be able to pay for everything like the ticket and living expenses...

anyone's advice would be much appreciated
