    Goodluck sol-rider...

Correct in my case but legislation was passed last year that WO1s are now Commissioned out of WOCS. I already posted that info numerous times plus the article of the WO1 taking command in my Go Warrant thread. Here is the article again. My last unit, a fellow CW2 assumed command when the CC went on leave. Do you now see the difference between a WO1 and a 2LT?? Plus WO1s (in regards to etiquette) are aligned with 1LTs and CW2s with CPTs, CW3s with MAJs, CW4s with LTCs and CW5s with COLs. We been waiting for that CW6 (already approved by Congress to be aligned with the Flag officers even though CW5s fill those slots). I get emails constantly on how they are trying to make Warrants more like COs (with the now wearing of branch insignia and the W01 commissioning is another step in that direction) and I disagree on that notion. They are trying to implement a Chief Warrant Officer of the Army as well as Command Chiefs that they already have in the Army National Guard.

This is what I wear on my belt since it was taken away so I can wear the Signal Branch insignia. If you watch the movie The Generals Daughter (another movie where the lead is an Army Chief Warrant Officer - hooah! lol), John Travolta is wearing it at the end when he salutes the casket. BTW, what side should he be standing next to the General?

And an email I received that shows that LTs are not invited to the show lol

This quarterly interactive session provides a forum to inform the Sustainment community on the latest hot topics and initiatives within the Transportation Corps, while at the same time dialog on observations, issues, and challenges impacting the operational community.

Hey everyone, I forgot to come back and update this thread, then the whole "attack site" thing happened so I wasn't sure what was going on with the site.

Anyway, my time at MEPS was well worth the 2 days and three separate occasions I had to go down there! Day 1 was great, except all us ladies got held up in the physical waiting for one straggler for over an hour so we could all do the underwear olympics together. I ended up with a straight 1 profile and passed the extra depth-perception exam for 12Y, but it was so busy and so late by the time I got out of the physical I ended up timing out. Got everything done including my preliminary security interview so all I had to do was return the next morning to sign and swear in....or so I thought!

Day 2 I was again down there early, and as we were going through my contract there was a discrepancy with my SLRP - essentially my recruiter failed to have me do any of the paperwork for it. I was there for 2.5 more hours and finally had to leave to go to work while they were still trying to fix my contract. Needless to say I returned that afternoon, everything was right and I was finally able to swear in.

I have my first RSP Drill this weekend and I am preparing to have my ass kicked!

Thanks Exo. I had my first RSP Drill this past weekend and got my ass handed to me physically. At least now I know what I really need to spend time working on before I leave for BCT. The mental aspect was not a big deal, except for dealing with the idiotic 17 year olds who would not shut up, run, or otherwise do what they were supposed to be doing. I knew that would always be my greatest challenge though.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here, its been fun getting to know a bit about you all. I'm off tomorrow to Ft. Sill, provided everything runs smoothly at MEPS. I look forward to returning to this community and being able to contribute to it even more come December, and on into the future. Cheers!!

You still won't be able to contribute anything except you THINK you will... and that right there is worse than a civilian trying to contribute. Lol. Good luck!
