Future Soldier Training

For those of you who are in the FSTP (or have been recently), I'm having trouble getting the training programs to load on the Future Soldier Portal. For example, my first session is for military time, so I launch training, and everything on the page loads except for the buttons. I have the latest version of my plugins needed etc. but still nothing. I've tried it on my 3 different browsers (IE9, Opera, and Chrome) and it still doesn't work.

Anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks!

*As a side note, all of the Army sites have problems loading on my PC, it blocks AKO whenever I try and log in to my webmail or anything.

Ensure you enable all required security protocols, including SSL and TLS. This is usually the problem when you cannot access AKO.

You have to accept the certificates in order to get into AKO, your browser might say not to but just set it to where it accepts them all the time....

I had to uninstall Java version 23 and reinstall Java version 21 to get it to work.

Thanks for the replies, I have done this and now the FSTS Portal works and the training loads, but when I complete a training module, it never saves it! I've done Military Time several times now and it still says I have yet to start any of my training. It won't let me load any Final Exams or anything, I just get to the end and the only option is "Exit Training".

Same thing is happening to me ThirdGen. I'll post back if i Figure something out.

Okay so I've finally gotten it to work on my PC and this may sound ridiculous, but it's what worked for me. Firefox is the only browser I can get FSTS to load properly in to where the training module runs. At the end of the training module, there are actually TWO "Exit Training" buttons. One is at the bottom of the lesson screen, and the other is in the upper right hand corner. When I tried clicking the upper right button to exit instead, it decided to work and save my completed task, and let me take the final exam.

Also make sure that you've done the other things posted by Grunt Medic, mesummerlin, and MPclk2006 just in case. My security protocols were correct but to be on the safe side I also installed the older version 21 of Adobe. I hope yours starts to work soon as well!

You wouldn't happen to have a link to install java 21 would you? Can't seem to find it.

No problem, I found it at OldApps.

Just make sure to uninstall all Java versions you have beforehand. Good luck, let me know if it works after this!

Just a little FYI,

TL;DR

All previous versions of the Java JDK and JRE have security flaws. Be forewarned about installing older versions of Java on your home PC.
