    Question BP waiver

I went to meps at Fort Dix back in march, my Blood pressure was just a bit elevated, mostly because i was nervous. Last week I had some BP test's with a military nurse, and my bp was normal. She said that i should get the waiver.
My question is, about how long will it take to have the waiver "approved" and will the waiver stop me from going to basic?

When I was a recruiter if your blood pressure was elevated they only required a three day blood pressure check. It could be done and certified by any EMT or Dr.s office, then if your blood pressure was still elevated you would have to request a waiver.

Blood pressure was normally a TDQ because after the three day study if it was normal you would be good to go.

The waiver just depends on how fast your Recruiting BN gets it into the system and how backlogged the system is. Remember they are looking at the entire Army's MEPS waiver and not just yours.

Just hang in there and keep your fingers crossed. If the waiver is denied then you will not be able to enlist.
