The obstacle course is one of the more fun aspects of basic - we always looked forward to the jumping, climbing, and swinging involved. You'll probably want to do it more than you get to. Have fun, and good luck!

Days that you spend at the Obstacle/Confidence Course or Repelling down Victory Tower or whatever Fort Knox calls it are some of the funner days in BCT.

I'm assuming the not-so-fun days include the CS chamber? lol

The gas chamber is no big deal. If nothing else it'll give you confidence in your protective mask. The fear of the event is worse than the actual event itself. I've probably gone through that a half dozen times in my career & I'm still around to talk about it.
