Default Documentary Film about 35 year old joining.

    Hello all--

First and foremost, I want to salute everyone serving and considering serving in our nation's military. Thank you for everything you do.

I hope I'm posting in the right area of the site... I'm a filmmaker searching for 35 year old recruits considering or have just signed to join the armed forces for a documentary project.

This is a non-profit project by a curious independent film maker. Please message me if you are interested or know someone.

    Thanks for your time!

I don't think there's anyone joining at 35 onsite at this time. Your local Recruiting station might be able to give you some leads if they're even allowed to do that.

I went into the Army at age 38 but I already had 6 years in the Navy some 14 years before that. I went on to retire with a total of 27 years of military service.

No one will be able to give you the information, but you might get the recruiter to offer your contact info to any eligible recruits if they want to contact you.

Back in my day (one year ago) 42-year-olds could join.

haha he said "back in my day" hehehe...yeah 42 year old technically could NOT join because they were too late, they had to join at 41 years old...and yes you are right, about a year ago (41 year old) could join...now a 35 year old cannot join, a 34 year old can...

they would have given it to the officer corps.- SMA William A. Connelly
