    Default Home schooled Enlistment help.

hi, this is my problem. I've been to two recruiters and no luck yet. I was home schooled all the way from pre-K and the Recruiters informed me that i must have transcripts and they need to call and verify what tear i was in. here is the problem in the state of TX none of this is required, I've talked to many people about this and talked to home school support groups. My Mother was my teacher and its not necessary to send in paper work, grades etc etc. Does anybody know about home school graduates enlisting?

Thank you, i will look into the website.

I just came back from one of the local recruiters and he read the handbook this is not word for word but
"states that do not require home school enrollment notification require both of the fallowing:
a certificate of completion from Parent and transcripts from parent that closely fallow as to a public school would"

Yes, you need transcripts of the school you "went to" and a letter from your teacher (mom) explaining what your day to day curriculum was, that gets sent to our Battalion Ops to our education specialist and he says "yeah its good" or "nope, no good"...in your case, go get 15 semester hours of college level classes and forget about your "diploma"...

they would have given it to the officer corps.- SMA William A. Connelly
