Here's what happens when you tell a bunch of combat arms guys to set up a few computers. You see all those power strips on the bottom left? They're all daisy chained together.
We had told the civilian in charge we were worried about a fire and all he said was, "Well I hope not".

No we don't. Myself and a few other guys got put into Cadet Command HQ last week until we PCS, since our unit moved to Benning. So it's the 5 or so of us who are all tankers and scouts. And everyone else is a civilian who are (for the most part) prior service tankers and scouts.
We still had 20 more laptops to set up, but we ran out of power strips.

Call up the post's DOIM (Now the Army calls them NECs). Here is the linkNetwork Enterprise Center (NEC), Fort Knox, KY
Put in a request for support. They can get you strips and a switch to connect those cables. Perhaps, then can send you a cable dog to clean that up or show you guys how to run and neat up cat-5 cables.
