The spam has been pretty quiet lately. I think only caught one this week.

That's great news. I hope we can get some new legit members. I am going to start posting this forum around to see what happens.

The link you provided for me doesn't work and a Google search comes up empty for me.

I noticed that too, MSG. Of course a lot of things come up empty for me, LOL.

Well, I am enjoying a three-day weekend and baffled about another government shutdown on the horizon. I just wish this BS will come to a stop. Nevertheless, I am enjoying my time overseas but at the same time, can't wait to get back home.

You've got to be getting short now, Chief. Time really is flying for me. Some of the DEPers who I helped train are already nearing the end of their first enlistments, LOL.

Maybe your next assignment will be extremely exciting. My last assignment was about as perfect as it could be - as an Active Army Advisor to a Reserve Division one mile from my home. Most of the time I walked or got a ride from my wife or oldest daughter in bad weather. The only flaw was that we were too far from a unit on jump status so I couldn't get the required jumps in to get my parachute pay. I kept basically banker's hours & only had weekend duty one weekend a month. The Active Duty members, Reserve & RA would take that time off during the week. Heaven forbid we'd have to work one hour more than usual, lol. I kind of wish I could have stayed on as a civilian employee after retirement but there were no contracts available. However I did get a couple of temporary short term contracts instructing various subjects on Reserve weekends. One of them was teaching an Instructor's class.
