Haha, whatever floats your boat Cash. Yea the thing you failed to notice is i have gotten into shape, and I am confident i probably could get a better APFT score than you right now.

Basic is a experience I look forward to and will excel at. I look forward to the adventure and challenge. It cannot be harder physically than training with former marines and former marine drill instructors.

It still doesn't change the situation, the Army would rather invest in me than you. Plain and simple. I am in and you are not.

I chose the military because I wanted adventure, not because i had to.

Some people don't need the military to stay out of trouble.

You can say whatever you want. It doesn't bother me. I worked hard to get where I am and I was a success, i cannot say the same for you.

oh and I took the APFT today and scored well above what is needed to graduate basic, and have a BMI well below the army standards, so take your fat boy comment and shove it.

In my unit at least, a single DUI is an automatic field grade Article 15, and some face to face with the General. One DUI will literally end the career of an otherwise outstanding E7, and you want to join with 2 of them?? Expunged or not, you've still had multiple run ins with the law, and in your own words, several misdemeanors. If you can't respect the rules as a civilian, how on Earth do you expect to survive military life where there are far more rules?? Honestly, you sound more like a soldier who would constantly be in trouble with his chain of command, one who would probably get chaptered out fairly quickly, and until then, given the shit jobs, and kept away from the front lines where I want someone I can actually trust to cover my 6, not someone I have to keep half an eye out on
