I would do what i can, unfortunatley for someone of that importance there is always a lot of talking and a little doing. One thing i would attempt is to try and bring America through its beleif that our citizens are anything but American. Its a pet peeve of mine when i hear people carry on about i'm white/black-american, mexican/african/irish-american when they were born and raised in the U.S. like i was and the only connection they have to the ethnic group they claim is maybe one common trait like skin-tone or hair color and a ancestor from 300 years ago. i mean when your a U.S. citizen and you go over seas your just an American, why can't it be the same at home?

Restrict and tighten immigration severely. We have enough (bad) people in America.

here is your government aid, welcome (this sign must be posted at every border currently because we have a serious issue with it)

I would put pressure on finishing off those inmates sitting on "Death Row". This would help curve our crime rate. IMO- if an inmate "confessed" to the crime and was sentanced to death then "put them to death". There is no reason to study them to figure out why they commited their crime(s).

If someone did not admit to the crime(s) byt was found guilty and then also lost their appeal, they would also face a certain and quick death.

Things like what happened in Chicago the other day would be all but stopped, because people would probably stop and think.

This would also take a huge chunk out of the deficit we have. I would also use firing squads instead of leathal injections, electric or gas. $0.25 per round is a lot cheaper.

    All executions would be publicized!

Hmm...I woud do something like a dnr kinda thing for our elders in hospice situations, just waiting and begging to pass. Why should we make them suffer any longer than they have to if there is no chance of getting better? It's plain wrong and it should be their decision not the government. Just my .02 cents.

I'd work with the Congress to pass a broad-spectrum deportation of ALL illegal aliens, and either repeal NAFTA, or tax the hell out of all imports, including American imports made overseas to bring the manufacturing jobs back.

Every other country does it, (taxes the shiite of American made goods using protectionist measures) so why not us? Then maybe we could afford some kind of universal healthcare...
