I just thought it was a good idea and should be thought about.
    Great idea!

Someone told me pre-stamped post cards are a good idea, that way you don't have to worry about losing your stamps.

Yes fellas there is such a thing! Long.... before the age of Electronics, there were typewriters, rotary telephones, no T.V., phonograhs, no dishwashers- everything was by hand!!!! I'm not that old-things changed rapidly while I grew up! And pre-stamped postcards with questions & answers to check off; or multiple choice Q's is the way I got a Boyfriend who was in the Coast Guard to correspond with me. He shipped to Antartica for 6mths & didn't even write to his Mom or B.F... I got him to write!!! Try it sometime-- it won't hurt!!! LOL

Yes Chris!!! Multiple Choice, Fill-in-the-Blanks, and the like! I made it really easy for him! All he had to do might've taken 60 seconds or less, each time!! I Pre Addressed them & Pre Stamped them, too!!! I wanted to hear from him; I didn't want excuses . Writing can be Fun!!! Matter 0f fact I'm going to have to write to my Son who Deployed last week- overseas - He hasn't called yet; and yes I did buy him an AT&T phone card---I simply forgot to write down family & friends phone #'s to go with it!!! LOL Have a Good Day!

Here is an example of a chat box, this is in a forum in which I am a moderator. You can see it's at the top out of the way, and you can make it full screen and search the archives. The cool thing is that we use the same forum software as this forum.

Another option would be to create an IRC chat. There are plenty of free IRC chat programs out there, and all that would be needed is to create our own channel. Then there you have it, a free, freakin' sweet, high speed chat for Army Forums.

For the record though, if we can make Snake's idea work that looks better. Never seen a chat program run inside of a website like that before.

Congratulations Night, Welcome to the team and back into the game, different department, agency, the same game. You'll roll over your days and be golden. Welcome back to the continental breakfast highway, lol. - Del The S**t.
