Forum Chat Room

I saw a thread about a Forum Chat Room. Are all of you still on board with this idea? I happen to run a nationwide IRC network that would be perfect for ya'll. Let me know if you guys are interested! I'm currently in Afghanistan so I'm sure our times are backwards you can e-mail me at lqidskin@soldiernet.org or visit the network site at SoldierNet.Org. This network caters to Military mainly.

LqidSkin, if you have the IRC server just set up a #ArmyForums room or something similar. It's not to hard to set up a channel and there's quite a few computer literate members here including staff that could easily moderate such a room.

Ok guys/gals the IRC room is set up. #armyforums on the already mention irc.soldiernet.org server. If anyone needs help setting up IRC and connecting I will be posting a guide within the next day or so. In the meantime you can get a free IRC client from #mIRC-DALnet Resource Center for you Windows users and XChat: Multiplatform Chat Program for you Mac/Linux users.

I also have a simple to follow how-to for mIRC set up SoldierNet.Org - Content The only diffrence is instead of adding wainwright server use irc.soldiernet.org (DNS pool server) better. Either works though.
